I was a student at the University of Denver in 1970. I couldn't wait to take this train to Winter Park. I was thinking even then that this is unique opportunity and better do it now while it's still available. I could barely afford the ticket as a student but I managed to scrape together the cash to go. I"m glad it lasted at least 39 more years. It is a fond memory riding the "Ski Train". It was a Denver institution and it will be missed by many.
